FAQ: TV Mounting Prices & Quotes

Standard mounting labor is priced by TV size when you already have a compatible mount.

Mounts, specialty walls, wire concealment, soundbars, travel and applicable sales tax are separate. Use the ZehmTV Instant Quote to build a more complete project estimate.

How much does ZehmTV charge to mount a TV?

Standard labor is $65 for TVs up to 45 inches, $85 for 46–65 inches, $100 for 66–85 inches and $150 for TVs 86 inches and larger when the customer already has a compatible mount.

Specialty walls, mounting hardware, wire concealment, soundbars, travel and applicable sales tax are separate.

Can ZehmTV provide the TV mount?

Yes. You can use your own compatible TV mount or have ZehmTV provide one. Current mount options start at $50 for smaller TVs and increase according to TV size. The Instant Quote will match the appropriate mount option to the television size you select.

Do I get a discount if I have multiple TVs?

Yes. Projects with two or more TVs receive the applicable 10% multi-TV discount across the qualifying order before sales tax.

Is the Instant Quote the final price?

It is an estimate based on the information you enter. Standard projects can often be estimated closely online, but fireplaces, specialty surfaces, unusual wall construction, oversized equipment or other project conditions may require photo review before the final price is confirmed.

Is travel included in TV mounting labor?

Travel is calculated separately based on the service route from Lakewood. Your complete service address helps us determine the appropriate travel amount rather than relying only on a city name or ZIP code.

Installation FAQ

FAQ: TV Mounts, Fireplaces & Wall Types

Can you mount a TV over a fireplace?

Yes. ZehmTV handles many compatible fireplace projects. Fireplace installations are reviewed individually because the wall may involve drywall, brick, masonry, tile, smooth stone or uneven stone.

Send a straight-on photo showing the full fireplace and surrounding wall before scheduling.

Do specialty wall materials cost more?

Yes. Current specialty-wall upgrades include:

Brick, concrete or masonry: +$85.
Tile or smooth stone: +$100.
Uneven or stacked stone: +$125.

Fireplaces, metal studs and unknown wall conditions should be reviewed from photos before final pricing.

Can you use a mount I already purchased?

Yes, as long as the mount is compatible with the TV, suitable for the wall and includes the hardware required for the installation.

Do you mount TVs 86 inches and larger?

Yes. ZehmTV mounts large televisions, including TVs 86 inches and larger. Very large TVs may require additional planning or lifting assistance depending on the equipment, wall and installation location.

Does ZehmTV install Samsung Frame TVs?

Yes. Samsung Frame TV installation is one of our specialty services. Current installation labor is $125 for Frame TVs up to 65 inches and $165 for 66–85 inches. Larger Frame TVs require project review.

Different Frame models may use different connection configurations, so sending the model number before the appointment can be helpful.

Can ZehmTV hide the wires?

Yes. Surface cord covers start at $40. Qualifying homeowner projects can also use compatible low-voltage in-wall AV concealment options.

Can you install my soundbar too?

Yes. ZehmTV offers compatible wall-mounted and TV-mounted soundbar installation options. The best setup depends on the television, soundbar and mounting hardware.

Can TV mounting, wire concealment and a soundbar be done together?

Yes. Multiple compatible services can be combined into one project. The Instant Quote allows you to build several common options into the same estimate.

FAQ: Rentals, Apartments & Electrical Work

Does ZehmTV mount TVs in apartments or rental homes?

Yes. Renters should confirm that TV mounting is permitted under their lease or property rules before the appointment.

Can renters get in-wall wire concealment?

No. ZehmTV limits in-wall concealment to qualifying homeowner projects. Renters and apartment customers can use compatible surface cord covers instead.

Does ZehmTV install electrical outlets?

No. ZehmTV does not install new electrical outlets, new circuits, household electrical wiring or other new electrical systems.

Our in-wall services are limited to compatible low-voltage AV concealment and compatible retrofit solutions within the scope of the installation.

Do I need to know what kind of wall I have?

No. If you are not sure, send us a clear photo. We would rather review the wall first than have you guess at the wrong option.

Does ZehmTV guarantee same-day appointments?

No. Appointment options depend on the existing route, project requirements, location, schedule and availability. When you contact us, we can let you know what fits the current schedule.

ZehmTV is based in Lakewood and serves many communities throughout Western Washington, including Tacoma, Puyallup, JBLM, Lacey, Olympia, Gig Harbor, Federal Way, Kent, Renton, Seattle, Bellevue, Kitsap County and surrounding areas.

Yes. ZehmTV handles selected commercial TV and display installations for offices, restaurants, schools, hotels, retail spaces and other businesses.

Is ZehmTV workmanship covered by a warranty?

Qualifying ZehmTV installation workmanship is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty beginning on the original installation date.

How do I get started?
