What the Warranty Means

Workmanship Coverage vs. Product Problems

The 1-Year Workmanship Warranty is designed to cover the quality of ZehmTV's installation work. TVs, mounts, soundbars and other equipment may have separate manufacturer warranties.

What May Be Covered

Examples of issues that may qualify when they are directly related to ZehmTV installation workmanship include:

  • A qualifying installation issue caused directly by our workmanship
  • Mounting or installation work that requires correction because of the way ZehmTV originally installed it
  • Work performed by ZehmTV at the original installation location
  • A workmanship concern reported within one year of the original installation date

What Is Not Covered

The workmanship warranty does not cover problems unrelated to ZehmTV's original installation workmanship.

  • TV, mount, soundbar or other manufacturer defects
  • Defective or incompatible customer-supplied products or hardware
  • Accidental damage, misuse or impact damage
  • Wall deterioration, structural failure or structural movement
  • Relocation of the installed item
  • Customer modifications after installation
  • Work, adjustment, removal or modification performed by others
If a Covered Issue Occurs

ZehmTV Will Correct the Covered Workmanship

If a qualifying workmanship issue occurs during the one-year warranty period, ZehmTV will review the concern and, when covered, correct the affected installation workmanship at no additional labor charge.

The 1-Year Workmanship Warranty applies to the original installation and original installation location.

Important Warranty Details

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

The warranty follows the original installation. Moving, relocating, removing, altering or modifying the installed item can change the conditions of the original installation and may place the issue outside the workmanship warranty.

Product problems are different from workmanship problems. A TV, mount, soundbar or other product can fail even when the installation itself was performed correctly. Manufacturer or product defects are not covered by ZehmTV's workmanship warranty.

Wall and structural conditions matter. Structural movement, wall deterioration, accidental damage or other changes to the installation surface after the original service are not workmanship defects.

Keep your digital certificate. Your digital ZehmTV warranty certificate helps document the original installation date, service location and warranty period if you ever need to contact us regarding the installation.

Warranty FAQ

1-Year Workmanship Warranty Questions

Will I receive a warranty certificate?

Yes. After your appointment, ZehmTV provides a digital 1-Year Workmanship Warranty Certificate for your records. The completed certificate documents information about the original installation, including the service address, invoice information, installation date and warranty-through date.

When does the 1-Year Workmanship Warranty begin?

The one-year warranty period begins on the original installation date.

Does the warranty cover my TV?

No. The ZehmTV warranty covers qualifying workmanship, not manufacturer or product defects involving the TV itself.

Does the warranty cover my TV mount?

The workmanship warranty covers qualifying installation workmanship. A defective mount or other product issue is separate from the workmanship warranty and may fall under the product manufacturer's warranty.

What happens if a covered workmanship issue is found?

ZehmTV will correct qualifying covered installation workmanship at no additional labor charge.

Does the warranty still apply if someone else moves the TV?

The warranty applies to the original ZehmTV installation and original installation location. Relocation, removal, modification or work performed by others is not covered.

What if my wall changes or becomes damaged later?

Wall deterioration, structural movement, structural failure or unrelated damage is not considered a ZehmTV workmanship defect.

What should I send when reporting an issue?

Send the customer name, original installation address, approximate installation date and clear photos or video showing the concern.

Do I need my original invoice or warranty certificate?

If you have them, your invoice and digital warranty certificate can help identify the original project quickly. If not, send the customer name, service address and approximate installation date so we can review the job.

How do I contact ZehmTV for warranty service?
