How ZehmTV Started
One TV, One Referral, Then Another
ZehmTV started in 2019 after one of Jenae’s friends needed a TV mounted and had been quoted around $300 elsewhere. She asked whether Alex could do it.
We mounted the TV, she told us we should turn it into a business, and then she started referring people. Those customers referred more people. By 2020, ZehmTV had become our full-time family business.
Today, customers looking for TV mounting in Lakewood and Tacoma are still dealing directly with the same family who started by helping one person mount one TV.
Even our slogan came from a customer. After a Seattle job,
he told Alex: “There’s Them, Then There’s Zehm.”
Alex liked it enough to keep it — and it has been ours ever since.

How much does TV mounting cost?
Standard mounting labor starts at $65 for TVs up to 45 inches, $85 for 46–65 inches, $100 for 66–85 inches and $150 for 86 inches and larger. Mounts, specialty surfaces, optional services, travel and tax are priced separately.
Can I provide my own TV mount?
Yes. We can install a compatible customer-provided mount, or ZehmTV can provide one based on your TV size and project.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Yes. We regularly handle fireplace projects including compatible drywall, brick, tile, stone, stacked stone, masonry and shiplap. Specialty walls are usually reviewed by photo first.
Do you install Samsung Frame TVs?
Yes. Samsung Frame TV installation is one of our specialty services. We review the TV model, wall and connection plan to help preserve the clean artwork-style appearance. Learn more about Frame TV installation →
Can you hide TV wires?
Yes. We offer surface cord covers and compatible low-voltage in-wall AV concealment for qualifying homeowner projects. ZehmTV does not install new electrical outlets, circuits or household electrical wiring. See wire-concealment options →
Do you mount TVs in apartments and rental homes?
Yes. Renters should confirm their lease or property rules first. Surface cable management is generally the preferred option because our in-wall concealment service is reserved for homeowners.
Do you offer a multi-TV discount?
Yes. Jobs with two or more TVs receive a 10% discount across the whole job before sales tax.
Do you guarantee same-day appointments?
No. Appointment availability depends on the route, project requirements and existing schedule. Sending complete project information and photos when needed helps us determine what appointment options are available.
